Optometrist
Dr. Andrew Brauer has been practicing for over 10 years in the Chicagoland area, specializing in orthokeratology, myopia management, and specialty contact lenses (including scleral lenses). He has written articles, served as a key opinion leader for the contact lens industry, and loves helping other doctors learn to incorporate difficult-to-fit lenses into their practices. He strongly believes that private practice allows doctors to provide the best care possible, and he enjoys practicing at the highest level of optometric scope. Just like you, Dr. Brauer hates waiting a long time for his doctors and hates being rushed when he sees them, so one of his fundamental goals at Eyecare Center of DuPage is for that to never happen to you here.
Dr. Andrew likes to play golf (although he doesn't get to do it much these days), go for family walks, and watch Illini basketball and Cubs baseball.
Optometrist
Dr. Nicole Brauer has been practicing for over 10 years in the Chicagoland area, and her training includes completing a prestigious ocular disease residency at the Chicago VAs. She has achieved the high distinction of fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry. In the course of her career, she has taught optometry students at the Illinois College of Optometry and has extensive experience working in an ophthalmology practice as well as optometric private practice. She practices with a focus on glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and other health conditions of the eyes and visual system.
Dr. Nicole enjoys doing yoga, and taking way too many pictures of her kids.
Drs. Andrew and Nicole live in Wheaton with their two amazing daughters, one wonderful son, and the best dog in the world. Between them, they hold memberships in the American Optometric Association (AOA), American Academy of Optometry (AAO), and American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control (AAOMC).
