About Eyecare Center of DuPage

On behalf of Drs. Andrew and Nicole Brauer, welcome!  Eyecare Center of DuPage is a locally owned, independent health-focused optometry practice. While most of our guests live in Westmont, Darien, Downers Grove, or elsewhere in Chicagoland, our world-class service also attracts patients from around the United States and beyond.  Our practice has been an integral part of the community since 1981 and has been at its current location since 1996.  Formerly under the clinical direction of Dr. Anthony J. Prasnikar until his well-earned retirement in 2023, our practice is dedicated to providing comprehensive eye and vision care for the young and the young at heart.  All ages are welcome!

At Eyecare Center of DuPage, one of our core beliefs is that fantastic care cannot be rushed.  We pride ourselves on answering all of your questions and making you an active participant in your care.  We schedule intentionally to allow plenty of time for your visit, and you'll never feel like you're just a number in an assembly line.
